Contributions to Aluminium Smetling Communities

The LMRC team maintains a strong presence at many international conferences. The Centre has published a total of 10 papers and 1 poster of Conference Proceedings at the TMS Annual Meeting 2011 in San Diego. Mark Taylor - the Director of the Centre - was the keynote speaker in a plenary session titled “The Future for Aluminium Smelter”…

Compact air-driven heat exchanger technology, developed by LMRC and under patent application, provides controlled cooling of smelting cell sidewalls for improved energy efficiency.
