LMRC at the University of Auckland will hold the PGCertLMRTech on 27th October to 14th November 2014, hosted by Century Aluminum in Kentucky, USA. Enrolment is now open, please fill out and return the Expression of Interest Form to start the enrolment process.

Compact air-driven heat exchanger technology, developed by LMRC and under patent application, provides controlled cooling of smelting cell sidewalls for improved energy efficiency.

Training and Education

The programme is to teach advanced concepts in chemical and materials engineering specific to light metals reduction technology, especially aluminium. The course content draws on recent advanced technology and research, lectured by leading academia and industry experts in the field
